Accounting Specialist (Toronto)

Overview

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for providing accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and ancillary services support within the Financial Services department.

Working closely with the Finance team and internal stakeholders across the organization, the role supports the integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting of financial information critical to organizational decision-making and operations.

The Accounting Specialist plays a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including account reconciliations, financial analysis, treasury activities, audit support, financial systems administration, and maintenance of internal controls.

The role also supports financial systems optimization initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and reporting tools.
