Job Summary
The Cost Analyst I is responsible for supporting the Cost Manager and Operations staff through routine financial analysis, reporting and maintenance of internal controls.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, including inventories, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Auditing and reporting on internal controls.
- Generating and analyzing routine monthly and weekly reports.
Nature and Scope
The responsibilities of this position pertain to the accuracy of financial information and maintenance of internal controls. The Cost Analyst I will review day to day transactions, including inventory, purchasing of goods and services, and purchasing and sales of scrap, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
