Position overview

My client in the EV industry is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and analytical Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will own the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of hardware procurement, installation costs, vendor bills, and utility expenses. Beyond day-to-day transaction processing, you will play a crucial role in month-end closings and lead ad-hoc projects to optimize our financial workflows as we scale.

Key responsibilities

INVOICING & DATA ENTRY

• Manage the full-cycle AP process, including accurate coding, three-way matching (POs, packing slips, invoices), and ERP/accounting system entry.
• Process high-volume vendor invoices for hardware inventory, electrical contracting, shipping, and corporate utilities.
• Review expense reports and corporate credit card statements for accuracy, policy compliance, and proper tax handling (HST/GST/Sales Tax)...
