Our client, a leader in the maritime transportation industry with global presence is looking for an Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
The Role
You will support the Fleet Management function, focusing on financial reporting, budgeting, and operational accounting for vessels. The role involves preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts with detailed analysis on vessel operating expenses and management costs, as well as consolidating financial results across the group to support audits and reporting requirements. You will oversee key accounting areas including fixed assets (vessel capex and drydock projects), charter hire, bunker inventory, and insurance provisions, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and maintaining accurate records in SAP.
