We’re searching for an Accountant to join Remitly’s Order to Cash (OTC) Accounting team, reporting to the Manager of OTC Accounting. You will contribute to the company's financial statements by supporting the month‑end close process and ensuring accurate reporting.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cross‑functional initiatives to enhance accounting systems, reporting infrastructure, and business processes
- Leverage automation and AI tools to streamline close activities and improve documentation and reporting efficiency
- Support the month‑end close process by creating and booking journal entries, analyzing trends, variances, and financial system outputs
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure accurate accounting for monthly accruals and new business initiatives
