Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Daily capital adequacy monitoring
- General ledger reconciliation
- Client money and custody reconciliations if applicable
- Regulatory reporting calendar
- Liquidity monitoring where applicable
- Record retention supporting all regulatory submissions
- Independent review of regulatory returns before submission
- VAT accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Financial and Accounting experience in a corporate environment is required.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero is crucial for efficiency.
