Account Manager, Building and Construction (On-site) – Intertek is searching for an Account Manager (Outside Sales) to join our Building & Construction team in our Coquitlam, BC office.

Responsibilities

Develop new and existing business through client outreach and education, industrial networking, trade show representation, opportunity mining and action, and operational support.

Perform client research, prospecting, and attend/organize networking events.

Frequent customer engagement planning and execution (in-person, by phone, regionally).

Discover and qualify opportunities and leads using multiple client outreach techniques and sales platforms.

Create, follow up, and negotiate project proposals through detailed meetings with decision makers and the Intertek Engineering/Operations team.

Review testing methods, standards, and project specifications.

Provide sales support to new and existing customers.
