As part of Maple Leaf Foods’ manufacturing team, the 4th Class Engineer will contribute to the efficient operation of the Central Utilities Plant (CUP). The incumbent will operate engineering systems safely and efficiently in compliance with applicable Acts, Codes, Regulations and Standards, including water (potable, sanitary, storm, etc.), compressed air, steam, and ammonia (NH3) refrigeration, boilers, and compressors.

- Support the development of SOPs for the start‑up of equipment and assure assigned asset numbers are installed, review manuals and generate preventive maintenance (PM) programs for installed equipment.
- Maintain, monitor, test and log all steam‑generating requirements by operation code and establish operating parameters with setpoints.
