CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist - Nuclear client

(429A and Horizontal Boring Mill experience needed)

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Set up and operate CNC and conventional machine tools; program CNC equipment; maintain production of precision-machined components to tight tolerances.

Tools & Equipment:

CNC machining equipment, manual machine tools including horizontal and vertical boring mills, lathes, milling machines, cutting tools, and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, gauges, and scales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, process instructions, and related documentation
• Select, prepare, and set up tooling, fixtures, jigs, and machine attachments required for machining operations
• Position, fit, and assemble machine components and tooling according to specifications and layouts
