Advance your skills at Omex Manufacturing as a 3rd Year Apprentice Tool & Die Maker in Stratford, Ontario. Get hands-on experience in precision machining, die maintenance, and tooling troubleshooting.
This role focuses on supporting ongoing production needs while collaborating closely with the Toolroom Supervisor and production teams. As an apprentice, you'll gain valuable knowledge in running machinery, tweaking dies, and recording maintenance data. This position requires a commitment to quality standards and safe working practices as you learn to operate various tools and machines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and sharpen stamping dies for quality production
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical tooling issues
• Document tooling logs and maintenance notes
• Read technical drawings and design tooling components
• Fabricate precision tooling and die components using machinery
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Tool & Die Program, pursuing Certificate (430A)
