My client, a Manchester city centre-based company is looking to expand their IT support team with a 2nd line Support/Service Desk Analyst.

As a 2nd Line support Analyst, you will perform an escalation for 1st line service tasks and take calls from customers to resolve their queries, while knowing when to seek guidance from your colleagues or escalating to a third party when appropriate. You will also work in an established team and support infrastructure engineers in their daily work, under their direction.

Experience needed for the 2nd Line support Analyst is as follows:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar 2nd line support/service desk analyst role
  • An excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and core technologies
  • Experience of Active Directory configuration and administration including GPOs, DNS, DHCP
  • Supporting Office 365 and Exchange Online environments
