We are looking for a self-motivated 2nd Class Operating Engineer to support the operations of the Powerhouse Steam Plant. Under the direction of the Chief Engineer, you will manage equipment operations, including the wastewater treatment facility, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Your ability to troubleshoot and maintain systems will be crucial to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain Powerhouse Plant equipment safely
• Monitor the operation of the wastewater treatment facility
• Repair valves, steam traps, and plumbing components
• Act as First Aid responder and monitor safety systems
• Conduct routine rounds and inspections of equipment
