Position Overview

The City of Maple Ridge is seeking an experienced and collaborative Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead the daily operation of our Preventive Maintenance Facility and support the safe, reliable, and cost‑effective maintenance of municipal fleet assets. This is skilled supervisory trades work involving the planning, assignment, coordination, supervision, and, where required, participation in the servicing, repair, inspection, and maintenance of a diverse fleet of automotive, commercial, heavy‑duty, fire, and emergency response vehicles and equipment. The incumbent exercises considerable independent judgment in scheduling and coordinating work, supervising staff, and ensuring that maintenance practices meet operational, regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
