This is supervisory, operational and technical work performed in a multi-use recreation facility including an arena. The work involves supervising and participating in the work of subordinates engaged in equipment maintenance, janitorial, security, refrigeration and ice making tasks; performing a variety of operational, routine maintenance and minor repair tasks; coordinating and scheduling the provision of equipment maintenance and janitorial service; establishing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs; monitoring expenditures and advising a supervisor of potential cost over-runs; and preparing purchase requisitions within defined limits.
