This position works in the Facilities organizational unit. This is administrative and technical work related to the development, maintenance and implementation of the City’s facilities maintenance program including capital and lifecycle planning. An incumbent of this class develops the preventive maintenance and repair program; prepares facility condition assessments for City buildings and ancillary equipment; assists in the development of multi‑year capital budget planning estimates; schedules and coordinates projects related to minor capital renovation and component replacement; conducts research, analyses and compiles data, prepares and makes recommendations for the facilities preventive maintenance program; tracks progress of projects carried out by other staff, including cost tracking and forecast reconciliation.
