Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment
Location: Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia (Remote: No)
Functional Area: Engineering - Equipment Engineering Manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of new standard automation solutions and/or off‑the‑shelf equipment under supervision; support the equipment’s software and hardware upgrades and qualification.
- Support the hardware and software improvements of Celestica‑led developments and off‑the‑shelf equipment via analysis of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and other available data.
- Support manufacturing operations to program, qualify, deploy, optimize and maintain equipment.
- Execute maintenance activities with supervision.
- Support customer product roadmap using Celestica Automation E2E process and tools such as User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Design for Automation Assembly (DFAA).
